While both can change the look of your vehicle, colored paint protection film offers a higher degree of durability and protection for the paint underneath. Vinyl wrap is a much thinner material – usually made from a vinyl plastic material called polyvinyl chloride. It is generally viewed as a strictly cosmetic modification and works great for shorter term solutions in the 3-5 year range before it’s time to remove or replace.
